Overview

This website and online store (the "Store") is operated by Anavadhya ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to everyone who visits the Store or buys from it. By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy policy, Shipping policy and Returns & exchanges policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

The Store is hosted on Shopify, and payments are processed by third-party payment providers.

Using the Store

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or use the Store under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • You agree to give accurate, current and complete information when you place an order or create an account, and to keep your account details secure.
  • You agree not to use the Store for any unlawful purpose, interfere with its security or operation, or copy or resell its content without our written permission.

Our products

Every Anavadhya saree is handcrafted by artisans and weavers across India. Small variations in weave, texture, colour and finish are a natural part of handmade textiles and are not defects.

We make every effort to show our products accurately. Colours can look different depending on your screen and lighting, so we cannot guarantee that what you see on your display is an exact match.

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, update product descriptions or discontinue products at any time.

Prices and payment

  • Unless shown otherwise at checkout, prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
  • Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Card and other payment details are handled by our payment partners.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid, even after the order has been confirmed.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is an error in pricing or product information, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Shipping and delivery

We ship within India and to selected countries. Delivery timelines are set out in our Shipping policy. They are estimates and may vary because of customs clearance or other circumstances beyond our control.

Returns and exchanges

Exchanges for damaged, defective or incorrect products are handled under our Returns & exchanges policy. Any damage or defect must be reported to orders@anavadhya.in within 24 hours of delivery.

Intellectual property

All content on the Store, including text, photographs, illustrations, designs, logos and the Anavadhya name, belongs to Anavadhya or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party links and services

The Store may link to or use third-party websites and services, such as payment and shipping providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anavadhya is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Store or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in force when the order was placed.
